An Introduction to Zen Meditation At Cupertino Library

 This workshop will introduce the basic points of posture and correct breathing which helps focus the mind on chakras, or energy points within the body. All of these things help the person meditating to reach a state of profound relaxation and focus. The spiritual purpose of meditation is to help find inner peace, wisdom and compassion.

The scientifically proven physical benefits of meditating include stress reduction, more restful sleep, and a stronger immune system.
